Fear & Hunger 2: Termina Affection Mod

This mod is currently made and maintained for version 1.9.1 of Fear & Hunger 2: Termina. If and when the game is updated, I will try to update this mod if I can.

WARNING!

This mod assumes you've played through Fear & Hunger 2: Termina to completion at least once. Please do so before using and playing this mod. While the mod itself contains no spoilers, talking about what to do in the mod may spoil plot and gameplay elements.

Summary

The primary goal of the mod is to allow characters to survive certain endings. The mod also adds events and dialogue as a character's affection increases.  Overall, the difficulty of the game should increase. You're trying to keep more people alive, after all.

I call it the "Affection Mod", but currently, there are no romantic relationships in it...

FEATURES - Minimal spoiler version:

• Abella and Marina affection implemented. (Modifies B)
• Events have been added or altered in areas to allow affection increases.
• Having affection will result in certain events and dialogue appearing.
  
• At 5 affection, a character's status at the end of the game can change.
• Book item "How to Affection" is given at the start of all characters' runs to help the player increase and check affection.

Please read the "HowToIncreaseAffection.txt" file to learn the steps required to see what the mod has to offer. The in-game book item called "How to Affection" will clue you in on what to do, as well as check your current affection level. 

If you don't mind being spoiled, the "Complete Spoilers.txt" file contains almost all of the information about what the mod adds in a guide-like structure .

Why Do This?

Because I wanted to. I like Fear & Hunger 2: Termina.

Also, it's called the Affection Mod because the main variable(s) making changes and adding content contain the word "affection" in them. I think it's appropriate, though.

Installation Method / Notes

It is recommended to backup your "data" folder in the "www" directory of your Fear & Hunger 2: Termina file path before using this mod, in case you want or need to revert to the base game. 

The steps to use and play with this mod are included in the "README.TXT" file.

Drag or copy and paste the "www" folder included in the downloaded zip file into the folder where Fear & Hunger 2:Termina is installed. Your system should prompt to overwrite files (Again, please backup your files!). 

For those familiar with the game files, this mod replaces .json files in your "data" folder with the changed .json files the mod needs. As a result, this mod is incompatible with mods that change any of the same files that are overwritten. (Mods that have no file conflicts should work with this one e.g. most, if not all, censor mods.)

Also note, if and when this mod is updated, know that the download size may increase as more files need to be modified. It should be no more than the size of the "data" folder in the game's "www" directory (about 120 MB), but things can change.  

What/Who Is Next? Timeline?

Levi is planned to be next. Unless I decide otherwise. I'm open to suggestions.

0.3 - Levi Affection
0.4 - Karin Affection
...and so on, until...
1.0 - Affection Mod "complete" (All playable characters have affection.)

If this mod starts becoming a whole host of changes aside from the primary goal, it'll still be called the "Affection Mod". On future updates, I might make changes to items/characters/etc. for the sake of balance so things don't become too difficult. Maybe.

No money, capital, or monetary value was gained by the creator from working on and releasing this mod. There is no intent to share the base game by releasing this mod or its files.
